Some Pictures:

Here is an update on some pictures from April till now. I was so busy during the deployment I just never found the time or energy to update the blog. Chris has made it back safely now and we are very happy. He has taken a month off work and goes back to work in a couple of weeks, hopefully then we will be able to get back into a schedule, all of these changes have been very hard on Kennadi and her behavior has reflected that. She is very happy to have her daddy home though!

Mammoth Trip after Chris got home:

She's cute most of the time, but sometimes another side of her comes out:

4th of July Toes

One day I laid on the floor to stretch my back and Kennadi sat next to me with her sticker book and started decorating my face, she acted like it was a serious project the whole time, I couldn't stop laughing.

Mammoth Trip:

Our Aunt Ricarda and Cousins came from Germany to visit and Kennadi took a liking to Chesney. She kept calling both Marvin and Chesney her friends and only really started using their names after they left!

Mothering Rusty

While cleaning under the couch cushions Kennadi used them as a fort, I turned around from vacuuming and saw her like this.

Crazy Hair

Hanging out with her picture of daddy, she had a daddy doll during the deployment, but she preferred this picture and as she ruined on I would just print another. Next time I will laminate!

Disneyland

I did two posts in a row, after this one you will find our Christmas post, so keep scrolling after the Disneyland post to find the next one:)

A couple of weeks before Christmas Chris and I took Kennadi to Disneyland for three days because they are doing a military deal this year. We had a blast but by the third day we were ready to go! The first two days were crowded but not too bad, the third day was so crowded we couldn't walk and we were very much ready to go home and stop fighting crowds. It was fun though and Kennadi had a good time. She is weary of some rides but she usually enjoys them and she really wanted to meet Mickey and Donald Duck. We waited in line and she was really excited until she would get about 3 feet from them and then she would re think it and run away. But we did get her to hug Mickey and give Donald a high five so it turned out great, that's a lot more than most 1-year-old kids would do!

First Roller Coaster, she hit right at the 35 inch line and was allowed to ride!

Not sure if she trusts us or not when we say it will be fun...

The Lady bug ride:

At first she is having some fun...

then she starts to look ill...
then she decides enough is enough and lays down, at least she didn't throw up.Of all the things at Disney and California Adventures, these big Christmas balls were her favorite thing to do, and all they did was sit there

Her favorite ride is the Merry Go Round
