Christmas Vacation

Well we have had a busy couple of weeks! Chris got promoted on December 15th to 1st Lieutenant. I don't have the pictures of his ceremony because I have not gotten them from Cip (hint to mom and Cip). Chris also got a new position in his company so he works less hours and days, it is very very nice! We were able to leave Christmas Eve to go to Kathy's house in Victorville and spent the weekend with Chris's family and then we drove to Mammoth Sunday to spend the week with my family. The whole trip was really fun! Kennadi did not sleep well which I guess is to be expected when you travel. She was a bit cranky the first few days but once we got to Mammoth she had adjusted to the traveling and was much better. She still didn't sleep all that well, but it was better. We hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Years! Here are some pictures from the trip as well as the couple weeks before Christmas. They are backwards, sorry!

Mammoth:
When we put her in the snow Kennadi would just eat it, she would bend down, take bites, chew them, then go back for more till her face got too cold. It was funny.

She though it was funny to stand at the gates at my moms house and shake them
More snow

Snow angel

What are they doing to me?!?! She was less than thrilled when we put her snow clothes in everyday, she would scream till we went outside and then she would sit stone faced in the snow, we never did get a smile out of her while she was in the snow.

Cute baby

Chris took Kennadi outside on the last day to go sledding. He decided to start pushing her down with no sled. When I got out there she was having fun, (although still not smiling). I decided to video the sledding. The first few times were a success although I didn't get a good video because I am paranoid and wanted to catch her in case she didn't slow down on her own even though before I got out there she went many time and was fine. So on the last run I told Chris to be careful and not push her so hard because she might fall, he thought I meant that she would fall backwards so he dismissed it. I meant that she would fall forward, so here is the last run:

She was fine by the way, I caught her face as it went down so she didn't hit the snow which is obviously why you don't see the actual fall. She got some snow up her sunglasses and was pretty mad, but she wasn't hurt:)

Victorville:
Lounging at aunt Kathy's
Hanging out in her new bean bag chair
More new toys

Rocking horse from Ryan, she loved it!

Before Christmas:

Chris had the idea to reuse her Halloween costume and call it santa monkey. Kennadi and Chris both thought it was hilarious, I thought it was a bit silly!

Ready to go to the neighborhood Christmas Party

Sea World:
Before Christmas Chris's dad, step mom and brother came up from Arizona for a visit. We went to Sea World while they were here, it was fun. Kennadi had a great time even though she had no real nap!
We got her a penguin while she was napping and when she woke up and we gave it to her she was very excited, she still loves playing with it.
Stretching the legs
We wanted her to crawl around so she wasn't sitting in the stroller all day but all she wanted to do was play with the sprinkler head.
Silly girl
