Sorry...

Again it has taken me over a month to update the blog! And my goal at the beginning was once a week, that seems funny to me now. Not much has happened over the last month other than Kennadi still growing like a weed. All the sudden she is much taller than she was a few weeks ago, we are not sure how or when it happened, but she hit a growth spurt. It is more obvious when she is playing with Payton, just last month they were the same height and now Kennadi is a couple inches taller. They grow fast!
We are looking forward to Kennadi turning 1 with excitement and disbelief. I knew it would go fast but I never though it would go this fast. But we do still have about 6 weeks until that big day so lets not jump ahead of ourselves:) She is still crawling all over but she is starting to stand on her own so her first steps are right around the corner. I have started to take more videos so we remember how cute her crawling days are when they are behind us.
So not much is new, we will be heading back to Mammoth in the beginning of March for a few days, I am looking forward to possibly snowboarding for the first time since before I was pregnant. I can finally fit into my snowboard clothes again so I may as well use them! We hope everyone is well and having a great start to the new year!

These are Kennadi's 10 month pictures, the 9th month kind of flew by and we never got around to pictures. So before Stephanie left town she snapped these and many other cute ones for us:

The other night I was having some alone time in the office and I heard Chris running back and forth down the hallway, curiosity got the better of me and I came out to see this. He had put Kennadi's bean bag chair in the laundry basket and was running her down the hall, it was funny and she enjoyed it. It kept her from standing at the office door banging on it waiting for me to come out.

After playing in her crib for about 30 minutes one day she finally passed out, this is how I found her:

I realize now what she may be doing in her crib while she is quiet but not sleeping. We have a video monitor and neither Chris or I have ever seen her doing this, but the other day when I was changing her crib sheets I found it. I was quite upset; I wasn't sure whether to be more concerned that she clearly was eating wood or that she damaged her crib. These marks are deep into the wood all up and down the side of the crib. A marker will cover them up but her teeth are permanently engraved in the wood. I will probably leave one set of marks alone so maybe someday we will look at it and laugh, as of right now I am not humored.

I left Chris with her for the morning and when I came back he was quite proud that he had done her hair for the first time. He even picked a matching hair tie! He had also taken the picture so we would remember the first time he did her hair.
Lots of Videos:

One of her goofy moods

This is how excited she gets when she sees apples, usually it is even more dramatic!

This is her new laugh that she does, it is what people like to refer to as a Velociraptor. She is
sucking in as she makes the noise, it hurts my throat to try to mimic it but she does it all day long, it is really funny.

When she got this toy she couldn't walk with it, a couple days later she could. Now she is even quicker and is learning to steer. Chris will sit in the middle of the living room floor and guide the toy in circles around him and she will just walk like that over and over. I need to get a video of that because it's hilarious.
