Disneyland

I did two posts in a row, after this one you will find our Christmas post, so keep scrolling after the Disneyland post to find the next one:)

A couple of weeks before Christmas Chris and I took Kennadi to Disneyland for three days because they are doing a military deal this year. We had a blast but by the third day we were ready to go! The first two days were crowded but not too bad, the third day was so crowded we couldn't walk and we were very much ready to go home and stop fighting crowds. It was fun though and Kennadi had a good time. She is weary of some rides but she usually enjoys them and she really wanted to meet Mickey and Donald Duck. We waited in line and she was really excited until she would get about 3 feet from them and then she would re think it and run away. But we did get her to hug Mickey and give Donald a high five so it turned out great, that's a lot more than most 1-year-old kids would do!

First Roller Coaster, she hit right at the 35 inch line and was allowed to ride!

Not sure if she trusts us or not when we say it will be fun...

The Lady bug ride:

At first she is having some fun...

then she starts to look ill...
then she decides enough is enough and lays down, at least she didn't throw up.Of all the things at Disney and California Adventures, these big Christmas balls were her favorite thing to do, and all they did was sit there

Her favorite ride is the Merry Go Round

Christmas Etc.

Well we are back from our Christmas vacation (and have been for a couple of weeks), sorry for the delay. We had a good time with all of our families and are glad we were able to see everyone this year! Our Christmas travels started in Victorville with Chris's family, then Kennadi and I flew to Reno to be with my family, then Chris and I met up in Mammoth and spent the week with my family there, and then we drove back to Victorville for New Years and finally were home. It was fun and exhausting. Kennadi loved playing in the snow and really loved all the attention she got from everyone.
Over Christmas at my dad and Lynda's house, my dad dressed as Santa for Kennadi. She had already seen Santa at her daycare and she was weary but sat next to him for a picture. So I assumed that with us she would be nervous but fine. We assumed wrong. She flipped out screaming and crying and wouldn't even look at him. So this year we did not get the picture we had hoped for, but maybe next year!
When we got back from everything we decided to go to Sea World for our free military day. We got there in the afternoon thinking we could hit all the shows and be good, we got to 2 shows and it started pouring down rain. So we missed the ones we really wanted to see, but at least we didn't pay for it! Kennadi loved the sharks and the penguins. She kept saying "again" after we would leave there. At the end of the day when we decided to leave, we told her we were going home and she said "again sharks" which was funny because it had been a few hours since we had seen the sharks. It has been fun lately because she can tell us things that happened and tell us what she wants after the fact, she is turning into a little person!
That's all we have for now, I have posted lots and lots of pictures so enjoy!

They fight for my moms attention

Sledding, Kennadi absolutely loved it!

We realized snow is a natural child gate, we let her go outside while Chris shoveled and didn't have to worry about her running in the street or getting into anything because she would have to crawl through 4 feet of snow and she couldn't do it. If she fell it was on fluffy powder so she couldn't get hurt. Other than the freezing cold factor, snow is actually a pretty good baby sitter.

When we woke up the morning after one storm the snow was taller than Kennadi. Mammoth had the most snow in the world all of December!
Kennadi very much enjoyed all of Drake's new toys including the sled, the Buzz Lightyear space ship and the bike.

Once we told her it was ok to eat snow, she did it every time we went outside.

Everywhere Rusty went Kennadi was not far behind
